My name is Mary and I am the stay at home mother of 2 kids. A school-aged boy and a toddler girl. Most of the time I am spending my days running around like a crazy lady, but when I'm not, I truly enjoy going back to myself and my interests! I love random crafts, refinishing old furniture, decorating and fixing up my house, animals and picking at people's brains (mentally, not physically). I am also about to be going back to college as a student to major in human services. I plan on being a counselor, specializing in addictions. Tough job, but someone has to do it, and it might as well be people that have a passion to help others when no one else will or has given up on them!
Other things about me. I live in the too cold or too hot midwest. Specifically, the 'burbs of Chicago. I love where I live. I went to North Carolina for a year when I was 20, thinking I was going to love it, and ended up coming back up here. As much as the weather sucks, I just can't live without Chicago and my friends and family!
